Reconnect with art and culture

Brighter Days Community Creations is a nonprofit organization established to provide individualized artwork to residents of assisted living facilities. We partner with assisted living facilities and their residents to identify the personal preferences and interests of each resident; to include each resident in the planning, implementation and installation of each piece of artwork; and to instill a sense of value and purpose in each resident.

Our Mission

In the isolated communities of long-term care facilities, too often residents don’t have family members, or have family that don’t live nearby, and no one is available to brighten their doors with anything more than a name plate. These community members with their “forgotten doors” may be limited in mobility and accessibility, but they still love and value the light of a painting, a ceramic pot, or other art.

We want to create sustainable, ongoing arts programming that benefits residents, families, staff, and the artists that participate.
