Brighter Days Community Creations is a nonprofit organization established to provide individualized artwork to residents of assisted living facilities. We partner with assisted living facilities and their residents to identify the personal preferences and interests of each resident; to include each resident in the planning, implementation and installation of each piece of artwork; and to instill a sense of value and purpose in each resident.
Reconnect with art and culture
The mission of Brighter Days Community Creations is to enrich the lives of older adults in assisted living communities by bringing meaningful artistic experiences directly to them. Through visual, fiber and performing arts experiences, we provide opportunities for self-expression, social connection, and creative engagement.
With limited resources to provide individualized art to the residents, and limited staff, the facilities are only able to provide limited visual stimulation and even less mental and emotional stimulation to the residents.
